PROJECT 01 / A THREE-PART IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE

From Terraform
to GitOps on AWS.

Most of the platform setup is already in the code. Configure your environment, deploy it with Terraform, and connect application YAML through ArgoCD.

A platform another team can adapt.

I wanted to deploy applications through GitOps and explore Kubernetes on AWS. This project brings the infrastructure and platform components together in Terraform so teams can start from an existing implementation.

The series is aimed at DevOps teams preparing a company migration. It follows the actual entry points, variables, module outputs, Helm templates, and YAML supplied in the repository. The workflow is concrete: configure, plan, apply, then connect the application repository.

PLATFORMEnvironment values → Terraform modules → EKS + controllers + ArgoCD
APPLICATIONSArgoCD Application YAML → Git repository → workload YAML → running application

Prepare DNS and image storage.

Part 1 includes Route53 setup and ECR provisioning with Terraform.
